8-4-21 THOUGHTS
God’s Law of SPIRITUAL PROCREATION is inspiring if we think about it. DISCIPLES MAKING DISCIPLES VIA THE WORD! The SEED idea is here! SEED and BORN and LIFE are connected!
Gen 1:11-13 Then God said, "Let the earth sprout vegetation: plants yielding seed, and fruit trees on the earth bearing fruit after their kind with seed in them"; and it was so. 12 The earth brought forth vegetation, plants yielding seed after their kind, and trees bearing fruit with seed in them, after their kind; and God saw that it was good. 13 There was evening and there was morning, a third day.
Gen 7:2-3 "You shall take with you of every clean animal by sevens, a male and his female; and of the animals that are not clean two, a male and his female; 3 also of the birds of the sky, by sevens, male and female, to keep offspring alive on the face of all the earth.
Hos 2:23 “I will sow her for Myself in the land. I will also have compassion on her who had not obtained compassion, And I will say to those who were not My people, ‘You are My people!’ And they will say, ‘[You are] my God!’"
We set the stage for the most marvelous SEED idea ever:
Gen 3:1-6 Abram said, "O Lord GOD, what will You give me, since I am childless, and the heir of my house is Eliezer of Damascus?" 3 And Abram said, "Since You have given no offspring to me, one born in my house is my heir." 4 Then behold, the word of the LORD came to him, saying, "This man will not be your heir; but one who will come forth from your own body, he shall be your heir." 5 And He took him outside and said, "Now look toward the heavens, and count the stars, if you are able to count them." And He said to him, "So shall your descendants be." 6 Then he believed in the LORD; and He reckoned it to him as righteousness.
Luke 8:11 "Now the parable is this: the seed is the word of God.
Matt 13:23 "And the one on whom seed was sown on the good soil, this is the man who hears the word and understands it; who indeed bears fruit and brings forth, some a hundredfold, some sixty, and some thirty."
Matt 28:19-20 "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."
1Pet 1:23 for you have been born again not of seed which is perishable but imperishable, [that is,] through the living and enduring word of God.
Mark 1:17 And Jesus said to them, "Follow Me, and I will make you become fishers of men." 18 Immediately they left their nets and followed Him.
BE DISCIPLES FOLLOW MAKE DISCIPLES!
My Prayer:
Help us O Father God to truly be your disciples. Teach us to follow more fully. Guide us to souls in order to make other disciples. May we promote your kingdom as souls are saved. O Lord give us pure hearts and strength. In the name of our Lord Jesus Amen
